National Bank pumps K2m towards healthcare

National Bank of Malawi (NBM) handed over K2 million donation to Operatiion Smile in support of surgeries for Malawians born with cleft lips and palates. NBM Legal Manager, Memory Chipembere, said health is one of the areas where NBM focuses its Corporate Social Responsibilty programmes.

Operation Smile Malawi, Country Manager, Ibrahim Nthalika, said the money will be used to enhance sensistization to encourage those with such deformities to go for surgery.
